1. The rebate is not payable in respect of any month in which the minimum payment is not received by the due date. The rebate is not payable in respect of cash withdrawals, interest, fees, balance transfers, or expenditure in any one month exceeding the amount of your Credit Limit or if the minimum amount of MoneyBack rebate earned in 12 months is less than ten pounds. An annual rebate on the aggregate amount of all Transactions (other than the exclusions stated above) will be payable to you by us to a maximum of £1000 per account per 12 month period at the following rates:
- 0.5% for aggregate amounts up to £5,000; and
- 1% for aggregate amounts from £5,001 to £10,000; and
- 2% for aggregate amounts in excess of £10,001.
2. American Express may vary the %APR, interest rates and other charges from time to time. The minimum monthly payment will be 3% of the outstanding balance or £5, whichever is greater. Of course you may pay off your balance in full at any time. The American Express Platinum Business Card Balance Transfer calculation of 0% p.a. assumes a monthly interest rate of 0% p.a. interest based on the average line of credit of £1,500 with no annual fee. The American Express Platinum Business Card standard interest rate for goods and services for the first six months is typical 0% p.a. variable rising to a TYPICAL 14.9%APR variable for goods and services and 21.9% interest p.a. including Transaction Charge for Cash Withdrawals. You will have access to a credit limit of at least £1,500. There is a commission of 2.73% on foreign charges. There is a £3 fee for copies of records of transactions and a £5 fee for copies of statements (please note your statements sent to you each month when you have used your card will not incur this charge). There is a cash withdrawal charge which is £2 or 2% of the withdrawal, whichever is greater.
3. Any Balance Transfers after the first six months will be calculated at 14.9% interest p.a. until the balance is paid off in full. AMEX reserves the right to refuse any Balance Transfer requests. For example, we cannot accept Balance Transfers from overdue accounts, exceeded Credit Limits, overdrafts, loans, HP agreements or any AMEX Accounts. AMEX is not liable for any overdue payments or interest incurred. Payments to card companies will normally be made within 30 days from our receipt of your statements and we will advise you when payment is made. Payments to your Card Account are applied first to transferred balances, including transferred balances benefiting from promotional rates.
4. Your purchases are approved based on a variety of factors, including your credit record, Account
history and personal resources. Proof of resources and security may be required.
